1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Presentation summary

This panel discussion is all about supervision, mentoring and coaching. What are the key differences between the various ways to support clinical and professional development? What are the differences, benefits and limitations of each? What should an individual consider when seeking professional support and development to ensure effective and efficient professional growth?
There is a great deal of variation in the delivery of professional supports within the work place (including what is advertised as provided as part of recruitment as well as ongoing during employment).
The panel will include experienced speech pathologists from a range of sectors, with experience and interest providing supervision, mentoring and/or coaching.
Before the session, submission of questions will be invited, and the session facilitators will collate and condense questions and ask the panel to respond.
The panel discussion will be engaging and enlightening and will allow attendees to reflect and consider the types of professional learning supports available in workplaces and most effective for professional learning and development.
