**********

Mia Burgess is a recent graduate clinician who earned an Honours degree from The University of Sydney in 2025. During her studies, Mia developed a strong passion for paediatric assessment and intervention as well as an interest in academic research. As an early-career professional, Mia is eager to contribute to the field by engaging with peers, learning from experienced professionals and exploring ways to implement evidence-based and collaborative practice. Presenting at the 2026 Speech Pathology Australia Conference is an exciting opportunity for Mia to share her insights and further develop as a clinician and member of Speech Pathology Australia.
