Carrie Fisher is a highly experienced Speech Language Pathologist with 16 years of practice across both public and private sectors. Currently a Senior Clinician and Supervisor with the Department of Education, she brings a wealth of expertise spanning early intervention, disability, education, adolescence, and multidisciplinary collaborative practice. Carrie is deeply committed to equity and social justice, with a strong belief that every student’s voice deserves to be recognised, supported, included, and respected. Her work is driven by the conviction that communication is a fundamental right, and she strives to ensure every student reaches their full communication potential. Carrie empowers educators and fellow SLPs to create communication-friendly environments that are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the diverse needs of all learners. Through her leadership and advocacy, she champions systemic change that uplifts student voice and fosters meaningful participation for all.

Sue is a generalist speech pathologist with extensive experience in Queensland schools. Working with people who stutter has been an interest which has developed from running intensive programs for adolescent and school aged students who stutter.
