Linda Orton is a speech pathologist with over 20 years of experience across the health, education, disability, and private sectors. Her clinical focus is on the differential diagnosis of developmental delays, speech and language disorders, and neurodiversity, guided by evidence-based practice and consumer collaboration. Linda holds a Master of Public Health and is currently a PhD candidate at Curtin University, investigating speech-motor development in toddlers and the use of clinical tools to support accurate diagnosis of speech sound disorders. Her work integrates clinical expertise, research evidence, and client experience to enhance diagnostic precision and service quality. Linda is passionate about translating research into practical tools for clinicians, improving diagnostic decision-making, and communicating new findings to families and professionals involved in early developmental support.
