Paula Hartwig is Principal Advisor – Speech Language Pathology at the Queensland Department of Education, where she leads strategic, state-wide initiatives to enhance speech pathology services in schools. With over 20 years of experience, Paula co-manages a large regional speech pathology team, driving safe, inclusive, and high-quality practices within a multi-tiered system of support. She is a passionate advocate for interprofessional collaboration and has led key projects including the Complex Communication Toolkit and Aspiring SLP Leaders. Paula actively contributes to research, professional learning, and national networks, and regularly presents at conferences and universities. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology Studies and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland
