Rosie is Team Leader of the Elver Program, a specialist, multidisciplinary trauma-treatment team for children and young people in statutory out of home care in New South Wales. Rosie aims to support professional networks to better understand the developmental abilities and needs of the young people they care for. With additional qualifications in Applied Mental Health, Rosie has a particular interest in the relationship between early childhood experiences and the development of language, social and feeding skills. Rosie is passionate about knowledge sharing and clinical education both within Speech Pathology and within broader professional networks. She has facilitated workshops for speech pathologists, allied health professionals, and child protection and caseworker professionals, and delivered lectures and clinical education at the University of Sydney. Rosie has co-authored two papers on the application of the principles of motor learning to voice therapy.
