Laura Chahda (BHSc Hons), MSpPath, PhD MSPA-CPSP), is a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist and researcher, currently practicing in disability, aged, and palliative care. An adjunct research fellow at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, her award-winning research has contributed to redefining speech-language pathology’s role in end-of-life care in Australia. Inspired by personal loss, she pursued death studies in her undergraduate degree, earning the Department of Health Honours Thesis Prize. She is dedicated to advancing the field through education, research, and advocacy, strengthening speech-language pathology’s contributions to end-of-life care.
