Lauren Haskins is the Owner of A Growing Understanding Speech Pathology in Newcastle, NSW. She established the practice in 2016 after an extensive career in public health and the not-for-profit sectors. Lauren’s mission is to create an industry-leading workplace where speech pathologists can meaningfully grow their careers. Her practice is recognised for its strong focus on education, supervision, and support- delivered within a fun, inclusive, and dynamic culture. She provides clinical and professional supervision to speech pathologists across Australia, including cases referred by the Speech Pathology Australia Ethics Board. In 2022, she founded Let’s Grow Together, offering training and resources for paediatric allied health professionals. Lauren is a member of Speech Pathology Australia’s Emerging Practice Models Advisory Group and the NSW Foundational Supports for Children Advisory Group, contributing to sector-wide discussions on sustainable and innovative models of care.
