Going home with a tube: The changing profile of a multidisciplinary paediatric home enteral nutrition program

11:55 AM - 12:05 PM

**********

Monika Sekulov is a paediatric speech pathologist working in public health for six years, with a strong interest in research and quality improvement. As an early career researcher, she is currently preparing a systematic review for publication, on the effectiveness of neonatal allied health intervention on the parenting role, infant-parent relationships, and infant development. Alongside her clinical role, she has contributed to multiple quality projects, notably, implementation of routine communication screening for high-risk infants, to bring current practice in line with MCRI guidelines, and working as a project lead for the paediatric allied health service redesign at Northern Health. Monika successfully completed the competitive Allied Health Leadership Program in 2023 and the Stepping Into Research program in 2024. Both programs support clinician-driven initiatives in healthcare through evidence-based quality improvement and research. Monika also works as a clinical educator and casual academic in public health and at La Trobe University.
