The exhibition will be located in the Federation Ballroom of the Hobart Convention and Exhibition Centre.Please refer to the HCEC Exhibition Services for information on venue regulations and other services such as:
For safety purposes, all staff present during bump-in or bump-out must wear a hi-vis vest and closed-toe shoes. Kindly note that children under the age of 15 are not permitted on-site during move-in or move-out. Any electrical appliances brought onsite must be tested and tagged by a licensed electrician.
General deliveries should be sent to the Macquarie Street loading dock. All deliveries need to be labelled correctly using the delivery label. Goods that are not labelled clearly will not be accepted. HGCH may sign for goods but accepts no responsibility for the security or safety of goods delivered into the venue. Deliveries will only be accepted a maximum of three days prior to the start of the venue hire. HGCH reserves the right to refuse delivery of items prior to this. Goods that do not fit in the lifts will be left on the loading bay until there is a representative from the sender to witness unpacking to accept responsibility of the goods and ensure their safety and security.
Loading Dock height: Ground to platform 1.20m
Deliveries to the Macquarie Street loading dock are limited to the following
Maximum size: 1.20m W by 2.00m H by 1.20m D
Maximum weight: 1800kg (service lift access)
Goods must be collected 1 working day after the event has concluded, or the following business day. Items not collected may be disposed of by the Hotel.
Limited complimentary storage for stand merchandise and small items will be available outside of the exhibition hall.
Exhibitors may not leave boxes and packing material in the exhibition display area during the show.If you have large items, such as pallets or packaging, these need to be stored off-site.
The safety and security of all attendees is of utmost importance at the conference. For this reason, an official conference name badge will be required for access to all conference sessions, including the exhibition area. All representatives of an organisation, including employees and guests, are required to register via the exhibition registration form prior to the conference.
Please email conference@speechpathologyaustralia.org.au the names and email addresses of the representatives to whom your complementary exhibition registration will be allocated, along with any additional registration requirements.
On arrival at the venue, please visit the registration desk to pick up your name badge.
Catering will be served within the exhibition area. Exhibitors' break times have been scheduled 30 minutes prior to delegates to ensure ample time for interactions.To ensure that dietary requirements are accommodated, we kindly ask that you complete the relevant section on the registration form. Our catering team will do their best to meet your needs.

If you're attending the conference as an exhibitor, the following registration options are available:
$110.00 per day (inc GST). This registration is for company representatives who are attending the exhibition stand during the day, in addition to the complimentary exhibitor/s. It includes catering, name badge, conference handbook and satchel. Note: Does not include concurrent session access or social functions, which can be purchased separately.
